Humans aren’t the only fans Shaun White has. Astonishingly, he is quite popular amongst other living creatures as well. While the legend was taking part in his final run at Beijing Winter Olympics 2022, earlier today, the entire world was glued to their screens, waiting to see him create history.

Sadly, the three-time Olympic gold medalist couldn’t win his fourth gold medal and he had to settle for fourth place in the men’s snowboard halfpipe event, at the Beijing Winter Olympics.

During his final moments, the champion was fighting back his tears, but couldn’t help being emotional. He said,??I just want to thank everybody for watching. Everyone at home: Thank you. Snowboarding: Thank you. It?s been the love of my life.??

A cat trying to catch Shaun

While the legend was performing his tricks in the men’s snowboard halfpipe event, a cat was trying to catch Shaun White through a television screen. A fan has shared a video on Twitter in which the cat can be seen trying to get hold of Shaun during his performance. He captioned it, “my cat sabotaged shaun white.”

Truly, it is a hilarious video and while everyone is sad about Shaun leaving, this video can definitely cheer them up a bit. Well, as for the cat sabotaging Shaun, it seems she is a big fan and wants him to pet her to sleep.

During his landing in Beijing for the Winter Olympics, there would have been a lot of things on Shaun’s mind. Winning his fourth Olympic gold was on top of that list for sure. However, not all dreams come true. Sometimes all you can do is just try, and the legend gave his everything to the game he has ruled for 20 years.

Of course, there is disappointment in not finishing the journey as per expectations, but he is a true champion, nonetheless. The entire world is sending him wishes over an incredible career that he has led. Love and respect of the people are the best achievements one could ever hope for and Shaun White has earned both in plenty.
