Arnold is also amply busy on his social media accounts and as guests on television shows and podcasts. He gladly shares the tales of his hardships and breakthroughs to motivate others. In a similar podcast episode back in 2015, he talked about an intriguing part of his life.

In the Tim Ferris podcast that Arnold attended, he got candid about his early days in America with no hesitation. And it was here that he came up to confess about a very peculiar way that he made money in America. He, with his friend Franco, had opened a bricklaying and repairing business but it had some twists to it. They would first do the measurements in centimeters, as opposed to inches, and give exorbitant figures to their clients.

The clients were, of course, astonished at the charge and would often request a reconsideration. Here is where Arnold and Franco’s act came in. Schwarzenegger said, “I would play the good guy and Franco would play the bad guy”. This former bodybuilder would say to the client, “I can beat him down for a little bit…”.

They would start ‘arguing’ back and forth, one in German and the other in Italian. It was all a part of their plan and Arnold would come back a bit later with reduced prices and the client would just be so thankful. Now, that’s a unique way to make some quick bucks.
