On 26th January 2020, when Bryant was flying to California for his daughter’s basketball game, the chopper crashed, leaving all the passengers killed. The news sent waves of shock and grief to the entire sports fraternity. Remembering the unfortunate incident, Patrick writes a heartfelt tribute to the NBA icon.

Patrick Schwarzenegger wishes to watch Black Mamba play 

Kobe Bryant, a.k.a. Black Mamba, is renowned as one of the greatest basketball players and scorers of all time. In his recent tweet, Patrick shared his disbelief at how time had flown since losing his favorite player. “Somehow feels like yesterday and also another lifetime ago.” 

Furthermore, Patrick grieved, “Would do anything to go to another lakers game with him playing.” During his career, Bryant won five NBA championships. The two-time NBA Finals MVP earned several accolades for his all-around performance. Besides his exceptional skills, he stood out for his discipline and passion for the game.

The former governor of California viewed the legendary personality beyond the image of his sport. In his tweet paying tribute to Bryant, he wrote, “Kobe was an icon on the court, a legend for the way he gave back to his community, and an inspiration to the world.” 

As the world commemorates the one-in-a-million personality, his words, “I’m here. I’m not going anywhere. No matter what the injury — unless it’s completely debilitating — I’m going to be the same player I’ve always been. I’ll figure it out. I’ll make some tweaks, some changes, but I’m still coming,” come to mind. Bryant’s thoughts and greatness will remain forever!
