What happened to Ronnie in 2001?

Recently, Samir Bannout and John Hansen appeared on the 22nd episode of The Muscle Maturity podcast with Nick Trigili. In the episode released on November 23, 2022, the trio talked about some recent and some ancient stories from Old School Bodybuilding. Nick brought up one of the conversations he had with Coleman, wherein the King had told him about the time he almost quit in 2001. Coleman had told him that Chad gave him some drug without telling him what it was and it had an adverse effect on his body. However, when he brought it up with Chad, he simply asked him to drink water, and then everything was fine again. Nick added that he thought Ronnie’s story was quite outlandish. He then asked for Bannout’s opinion on the matter.
