In 2020, Kimzey got married to Alexis and set out on his rodeo adventures. Little did he know that a pivotal moment awaited him at a gas station in Riverton, Wyoming. A series of text messages from Alexis delivered the news that he was about to become a father. Recently, the rider shared an Instagram video. We could see his little baby boy, Steele, sitting and clapping with amazement in his eyes. He set a song, “What a Wonderful World” by Louise Armstrong. Captioning the video with, “It?s only getting better!”

Originally anticipating their child’s arrival in early March, Kimzey organized his rodeo schedule accordingly. However, life’s script had other plans. On January 25, Steele Kimzey took birth, arriving seven weeks earlier than expected. In a twist of fate, Sage Kimzey’s remarkable journey as a bull rider took an unexpected turn in 2022. He had to temporarily step away from the rodeo arena due to an injury. It was during this hiatus that he received the news that forever changed his life. ?Steele came into this world with a spirit and determination that mirrored a seasoned cowboy,” Kimzey shared. “It’s been a whirlwind of both challenges and joy, but today, both mom and baby are thriving.? Steele’s birth has not only redefined Sage Kimzey’s priorities but has given him a fresh perspective on his rodeo career.

The seven-time world champion’s son is all over the internet

The little lad already has a massive fan following. Reacting to how fast Steele was growing, a fan said with amazement, “Getting so big.” One other fan commented with a blue heart that, “He’s darling”. Most of them kept calling him, “damn cute” and “What a cutie”. But there was one very precious comment saying, “It’s great! I named my 3-year-old son after you! Enjoy those moments they go fast”. Fans were awe-struck by Steele’s cuteness. Many also mentioned how much he resonated with his father.
