Clarice Hedeman was a celebrated rodeo mom in the history of bull riding and bullfighting. Having nurtured thousands of young rodeo, ranch, and racetrack cowboys and cowgirls along with her own children, Mrs. Hedeman has gifted many talents to the extreme sports world. Unfortunately, she died recently at the age of 94. Her pupils, along with her Hall of Famer bull rider son, Tuff Hedeman, grieved her demise.

Recently, a Facebook post paid tribute to the contribution of Clarice Hedeman. The long post was indeed a memoir to look at her inputs closely. However, fans couldn’t keep calm seeing the news and flocked to the comment section of the post to mourn with thousands of others.

Rodeo fans lament the death of Clarice Hedeman

Kendra Santos, a legendary rodeo journalist, recently shared a post on her Facebook where the caption began with, “One of the great rodeo moms of our time or any other has headed to Heaven. Clarice Hedeman raised seven kids of her own with late family patriarch Red, and had a hand in the raising of thousands more young rodeo, ranch and racetrack cowboys and cowgirls in her 94 years here…”

Santos described Hedeman as a proud mother of 7 children, who always shared her pearls of wisdom for the betterment of others. Her sons Richard Neale and Gary Eugene are accomplished bull riders and bullfighters. To describe his mother’s contribution, Richard Neale A.K.A Tuff Hedeman shared, “I could not have dreamed of the life I have been lucky enough to live, but I’m sure my mom did. My mom always believed in and supported our dreams.”

While talking about the void that his mother’s absence will create, Tuff also shared how Clarice made them strong enough to face and overcome their fears. However, the post also got a certain amount of attention from extreme sports followers. Sharing their condolences with the Hedeman family, they penned –

“Again,RIP to this awesome rodeo Mom. Thoughts and prayers of comfort to family, all special to me.”

One user appreciated the efforts of Kendra Santos, and wrote, “Great job Kendra. If you knew Clarice you loved her.. Will never be another one like her!!” Hinting at Mrs. Hedeman’s unfiltered persona, another commented, “Loved her brutal honesty.”
