Cassio Dias gets huge applause from rodeo organizer

On 2nd December, Cassio Dias won his first Unleash The Beast event. Now, less than a week later, he has repeated his heroics. Dias clinched his 2nd UTB victory on 8th December at Johnstown. With 344 Unleash The Beast points to his name, the Brazilian rookie now stands at the top of World Standings with a solid leaf of 161.5 points.

Honoring his remarkable achievement, PBR Brazil posted a touching tribute for Dias. “Brazil, it’s time to be proud! Our very own Cassio Dias is leading the 2024 PBR World Championship! Our cowboys are dominating the arena, showing the world the strength of our nation”, the caption read. It truly marked a special moment for Brazil, a moment to be proud of. “Feel proud to be Brazilian, feel proud of our victory.”, PBR added.

Earlier last week, the Brazilian was absolutely dominant. Posting the scores of 87.50, 86.25, and 90.50, he won the race with a massive gap of 62.50 points. However, as the World No.1 Cassio looked to repeat the heroics this Saturday, he faced some serious competition from his rivals.

Despite the serious competition, Dias pulls off a heist

PBR Johnstown marked the third event of Unleash The Beast this season, and it was undoubtedly the best of all. Dias, who rides for Kansas City Outlaws, started where he left last week, notching up a stellar 89.25 points ride. However, he soon fell off the Train Station in the 4th second. But he soon proved his resilience.

The Brazilian star took off again with an 86.25-point ride. As he looked to finally seal his consecutive trophy, the 22-year-old lightened up the event with an event-high 91.75-point ride. It marked Dias’s 12th 90-point ride. With a long career ahead, the Brazilian prodigy can surely test the World Record of the highest 90-point rides.
