Sage Kimzey entered the bull riding arena as a rising star, making his mark in 2013 at the Rangers Rodeo and swiftly dominating the field. Since then, he has been unstoppable and clinched an impressive seven PRCA bull riding world championships. As he continues on his path toward new triumphs, Sage is consistently bolstered by the unwavering support of his incredibly brilliant wife, Alexis.

Sage and Alexis stand as an iconic couple within the bull-riding realm. They have kept each other’s backs through nearly a decade of journey together almost nonstop. However, during the recent UTB ongoing season, Sage gave a dose of humor mixed with a bit of laughter.

He recently took part in the inaugural UTB event and showcased absolute brilliance. His performance, particularly in the first round, earned a well-deserved shout-out from PBR. Following this, Kimzey took to his Instagram to share a glimpse of his incredible feat in the arena.

In the reel, shared by Kimzey, his wife passionately supported him, inadvertently raising the decibel levels. She cheered, ‘Come on Sage, come on!’

Interestingly, Kimzey’s cowboy friend and the 2019 World Series champion, Hunter James Max Berreth shared the reel on his Instagram story and humorsly penned, “Starting off strong… My neighbors maybe calling in noise complaints soon,” accompanied by laughter emojis.

However, in the ongoing UTB match, Kimzey made an outstanding ride aboard ‘Gangster’ that earned a lot of compliments from PBR and propelled him to the top. And, Alexis left no stone unturned to cheer for her husband from the stands.

Nevertheless, Sage’s love story commenced as if it were happening in a classic fairy tale, and they eventually got married in 2020.

Bull Rider Sage Kimzey and his partner, journalist, and entrepreneur Alexis Bloomer, exchanged vows in a picturesque ceremony held at Knotting Hill Place in Little Elm, Texas. Every detail of the event radiated elegance, from the glowing “Kimzey” sign to the exquisite white and gold place settings, creating a magical ambience enhanced by a touch of artistry like the smoke machine.

The wedding witnessed a gathering of rodeo elites, fitting for a celebration of such magnitude. Sage, accompanied by other esteemed World Champions including Tuff Hedeman, Donnie Gay, Tyson Durfey (whose daughter Praise graced the occasion as a flower girl), Shane Proctor, Hailey Kinsel, and Tim O’Connell (among the groomsmen), showcased a star-studded guest list.

Notable personalities like PRCA CEO George Taylor, 9-time Bullfighter of the Year Dusty Tuckness, and 8-time Rodeo Clown of the Year Justin Rumford also graced the event, making it a star-studded affair that echoed the depth of the rodeo community’s respect and admiration for the happy couple.
