A wild ride at PBR Sacramento
There were 45 rides in the bull riding arena during the opening round of PBR Sacramento. Leonardo Ferreira, a rodeo star at the age of 19, competed in section 4 of the event. Ferreira was ready to roll as he was fixed with the bull, Pookie Holler. However, before Ferreira’s turn, four riders had previously been bucked off by the arena monsters. On the other hand, Bob Mitchell was the only one who could score 77.50 points on Off Campus. While waiting for the chutes to open, Ferreira hoped on the bull, Pookie Holler, and prepared for his bumpy ride.

The bull began its bucking spectacularly by galloping like a horse, as shown in the Instagram post by PBR. Although the cowboy had a rough go of it with the first few bucks, he did an excellent job of staying in his proper riding posture. As time went on, the commentator and spectators went wild because the cowboy was completely entangled with the bull. The commentator raised his voice and said, “Can he do it?” as all eyes were fixed on the young cowboy, who was only 19 years old. Once Ferreira’s 8-second ride was up, he hopped off the bull and demanded the audience roar in delight as he earned an incredible 87 points. As one of the most spectacular rides of the PBR Sacramento opening round took place, the cowboy rejoiced, and the audience erupted in cheers.

A podium finish for the first round
Despite his incredible performance, Leonardo Ferreira could only manage third place in the first round of PBR Sacramento with 87 points. There is still one more round of competition before the championship round, and it promises to be an exciting one. Even though Ferreira was just a few points behind the top two cowboys, in PBR, even a little lead might mean elimination from the final round.
