Magnus Carlsen is a name that has dominated the world of chess for almost a decade now. Give him any tournament, any format, any opponent, and he will emerge victorious with the utmost ease. However, there still are some people who have vague notions about his capability. Magnus shuts each one of them once and for all.

The Norwegian Grand Master is currently leading the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour 2022 with two consecutive tournament victories. In the first tournament, (Airthing Masters) Carlsen defeated his arch-rival Ian Nepomniachtchi, while in the second tournament (charity cup) he defeated Polish Grand Master Jan-Krzysztof Duda in the finals.

Magnus Carlsen warns his challengers

While the top chess players in the world could not defeat the world number one Magnus Carlsen, some people think they can do the impossible. Addressing these fantasies of various individuals, Carlsen strictly shuts them down. He made a Twitter post about the same and wrote“Btw: I see that people constantly tweet and tag me saying that they will beat me in a game of Chess. 1st of April or not. I highly doubt it.”
