Lance Armstrong is identified as a legend in the world of cycling, and for the record, he has won seven consecutive Tour de France titles from 1999 to 2005 and a bronze in the 2000 Summer Olympics. However, he lost all his titles because of a doping scandal that he was found guilty of. It changed everything for the former cyclist.

Though due to the doping scandal, Lance’s life completely changed. On the controversy, Sheryl said“He lied to me, too.” The 60-year-old singer has led a fascinating life, and Lance Armstrong was indeed a significant part of it.

The American singer Sheryl Crow began dating cyclist legend Lance Armstrong in 2003. At the time, the couple was almost inseparable. In fact, in two of the seven Tour de France titles Lance won, Sheryl was beside him. When they announced their engagement in 2005, everyone thought, this is it, this is the part where happily ever after starts for these two lovebirds. However, things turned out a bit differently than expected.

In February 2006, six months after their engagement, the two were on their separate ways. They released a statement saying, “After much thought and consideration we have made a very tough decision to split up. We both have a deep love and respect for each other and we ask that everyone respect our privacy during this very difficult time.”

And that was the end of their relationship.
