Landis shared how Armstrong always used to make people aware of the things that he wasn’t happy about. He used to scare people, and he liked the fact that people were scared of him. Landis shared that even before winning all the Tour de France titles that he did, he had a similar nature.
Landis makes it clear that Armstrong was a bully. He was always intimidating to anyone and everyone around him. Landis says that it was his way of doing things and back then that worked for him. He says Armstrong didn’t have a lot of friends. Going forward, Landis says that for Armstrong, it was a war, not just a war to win but a war to inflict suffering.

Armstrong had a strong interest in politics!
During the early 2000s, Armstrong had a strong interest in politics. He even hinted at running for the governor of Texas. His friendship with former president George W. Bush has always made headlines. Apparently, his friendship with the president had made some people believe that Armstrong would enter politics, but that didn’t happen. Later, he announced that he had changed his mind about politics.
