Engaging in a discussion with fellow contestants, he proposed the idea of having transgender athletes compete in a separate category.

The suggestion ignited a fervent debate beyond the cycling world. Actress Ariel Winter emerged as a vocal advocate against Armstrong’s comments, leading the charge in calling him out.

Armstrong’s Remarks Ignite Backlash
