Los Angeles Rams on Sunday defeated Cincinnati Bengals and ended the 2021 season by winning their second Super Bowl. But their road to the Super Bowl 2022 was not an easy one. When the 2021 season of NFL began, no one would have even imagined Los Angeles Rams as the winner of the Super Bowl. That too when there are teams like Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, and Kansas City Chiefs, the Rams were not even an option. 

What is more shocking is that even after making it to the Super Bowl, many didn’t consider them as a winner. Before the game even started, people predicted the results of the Super Bowl 2022, and the New York Yankees’ coach, Aaron Boone, was one of them.

The Yankees’ coach predicted the Bengals to win the Super Bowl but seems like he ended up jinxing them.

Aaron Boone jinxed Cincinnati Bengals

When the 2021 season started, most of the NFL fans predicted either Buccaneers, Packers, or the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl. The most important thing in sports is that one cannot decide the results by sitting on the couch. It is made on the ground. Whichever team performs better wins the match.

Therefore, the three of them didn’t make it to the Super Bowl. However, when the Super Bowl match between the Rams and the Bengals was about to start, Boone took to his Twitter and predicted the winner.

The Yankees’ coach had wished the Bengals to win the title with a scoreline of 24-20 in favor of Cincinnati Bengals. Boone on Twitter wrote, “24-20 Bengals. #WhoDey.”

But Boone’s prediction ended up jinxing the Bengals, and they lost the match with a very close margin of three points: 20-23. While Boone’s prediction was 24-20 in favor of the Bengals.
