Rallying cry from Dave Portnoy for the nation

Dave Portnoy took to his X handle. He shared a 72-second-long clip of himself appearing on Stuart Varney’s show on Fox Business Network to discuss the fallout of Harvard’s reaction. Additionally, he wrote, “Just to reiterate, I will never hire a Harvard grad again. Your diploma is useless to me. The entire country should do the same.”

Days earlier, the head of the University of Pennsylvania, Elizabeth Magill, announced her intent to resign from her post. The members of the board and around 700 of the staff at Harvard stepped in to steer Dr. Claudine Gay away from a similar fate, as per the BBC. According to the same source, Dr. Gay said she believed calls for the genocide of Jews were repugnant. She added whether they ought to be considered violations of Harvard’s code of conduct regarding bullying and harassment was context-dependent.
