In a recent Instagram story reshare from Horse World TV, Christian Simonson was seen gracefully riding a horse while sharing insightful words of encouragement. “Words of encouragement are crucial,” Simonson expressed as he gently scratched the horse’s withers. “That’s probably one of the most important things I think happens with us training courses,” he added. Recognizing that effort plays a pivotal role in fostering their willingness to try, it constitutes a fundamental aspect of our partnership. While urging them to achieve remarkable feats on a global scale, they also require affirmation.

They need to sense our dedication to standing by them. Consequently, they reciprocate with their utmost. As riders, fostering this mutual respect and acknowledgement holds utmost importance. However, the caption of the story was, “Such an important concept I have learned from amazing horsewomen @adrienne.lyle and @katie duerrhammer. Even if they get it wrong that’s ok what’s more important is if they tried to get the right answer.” Additionally, it’s worth noting that Christian has been a student of Adrienne Lyle, while Katie Duerrhammer has been his fellow rider.

This recognition, received during the Gold Medal Club Reception in Wellington, Florida, celebrates his embodiment of sportsmanship and horsemanship ideals as a junior rider in Olympic disciplines.
