Speaking about why Singleton chose to sell the farm, Baddock said that John doesn’t have anyone to succeed him. What’s next for John Singleton?

The 82-year-old trainer has planned to carry out the dispersal of his assets by the end of August. According to Baddock, John Singleton wants to leave the equestrian world and horse breeding on his own terms. He also said that he is in good health and may even buy a yearling or two every now and then. However, for the time being, Singleton has decided to retire to someplace near the seashore. Baddock emphasized that the decision did astonish him, but he understands which shoes Singleton stands in.
