In her latest adventure, she immerses herself in the enchanting world of Continental by Spruce Meadows. This sprawling sports facility near Calgary, Alberta, boasts a magnificent equestrian show-jumping complex spread across 505 acres. Gates weaved her equestrian magic in the latest chapter of her journey.

Jennifer Gates took to her Instagram story to share an exciting moment from the Continental Tournament held at Spruce Meadows. With the caption “Having Fun” and tagging Spruce Meadows, she reposted an image of her astride her 15-year-old mare Dolinn, who was seen mid-air. The photo showcased the 27-year-old gracefully show-jumping with Dolinn, highlighting their partnership. The original post was shared by Evergate Stables, founded by Jennifer Gates herself.

The event, spanning from June 8 to 11, 2023, witnessed remarkable performances. In the CSI5* 1.55m category, Jennifer’s husband Olympic equestrian Nayel Nassar partnered with the talented horse Igor, securing a commendable 5th place. Simultaneously, Jennifer participated in the CSI2* 1.25m event, riding Dolinn, and also claimed an impressive 5th place.

It comes as no surprise that Spruce Meadows, renowned for its excellence, was recognized as the number one show jumping facility in the world in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. The multipurpose sports facility offers a wide range of tournaments.

Spruce Meadows’ thrilling tournament series

Spruce Meadows has an exciting lineup of upcoming tournaments. The National Tournament will take place from June 14-18, followed by the Pan American Tournament from June 29 to July 2. The North American Tournament is scheduled for July 5-9, highlighting the bond between horse and military. The event features Lord Strathcona’s Horse Musical Ride, live entertainment, and Canadian military displays.
