Equestrian Enthusiasts Thrilled as Fall Mixed Sale Launches With Electric Live Auction

The yearling sales is an equestrian market where horses are auctioned. The buyers and sellers meet to have the best deal out of it. This is the chance for owners to have quality horses in their stables and for breeders to have the best price for their horses. In the latter part of the year, such market sales take place.

With few yearling sales already taking place or in progress, another opportunity for the equestrian enthusiast has been belled in the form of Fall mixed sales. This is organized by the Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association. This shall have an electric environment with live yearling sales.

Fall Mixed Sale for equestrian enthusiast

According to paulickreport, on Sunday,  October 14th the Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association’s 2023 Fall Mixed Sale shall commence. It shall be a live yearling sale with Eighty-one horses cataloged for sale. These eighty-one horses have forty different sires. The event will take place at the Horseshoe Indianapolis.

The Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will give a $5,000 bonus to the buyer and seller for a horse purchased at the live auction with the highest earning as a 2-year-old.  After that, a paddock sale of horses of racing age shall take place.  From October 16th to 19th mixed digital sales at HorseAuctionsUSA.com which shall have weanlings, broodmares, horses of racing age, and yearlings will take place and shall be the last event of the Fall Mixed Sale.

The live yearling and paddock sale will also be broadcast live and accept bidding through HorseAuctionsUSA.com. This live yearling sale will give people around the globe a chance to take part in Indiana’s Thoroughbred breeding and racing program. This year, in Horseshoe Indianapolis, out of thirty-eight Stakes races twenty-eight were reserved for Indiana-bred and -sired horses with a combined purse of more than $3.4 million.

Indiana’s Thoroughbred breeding and racing program is the most successful and shall increase its mares bred in 2022 from previous years. The purse for locally bred and sired horses is the best among the similar regional programs. With live yearling sales, the association will have a wider reach and a successful sale.

The Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association is excited about the sale. The president of ITOBA, Pat McGhee said, “We are very excited about the diversity and number of stallions represented in this year’s ITOBA Yearling Sale“.

He further explained that have each and every variety of horse at the sale. They have new horses with their first crop for sale and other proven performers of dirt and turf track. In the end, he said that with over 40 stallions represented they have something for every buyer in the market. Their aim is to do better than the previous year.

The Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association’s live yearling sale and paddock sale through online bidding shall give them the opportunity to expand and achieve better success than last year.
