There were eighty centers identified as urban equestrian centers of which thirteen were selected for the study based on various parameters relevant to the study. These centers were surveyed and had follow-up visits from May 2022 to December 2022. In the study, the equestrian researchers found the impact of urban equestrian centers was overwhelmingly positive. The positivity came from the promotion of a sense of community, providing physical, and mental wellbeing, and a safe place to socialize in these centers. These centers also play an important role in providing social education benefits through teaching riding and social; skills that help vulnerable children and crime prevention. These centers work to give a chance to all members of the community to get associated with it.

Those centers that made cordial relations with local authorities were successful in in-depth engagement with the community on the subject of education and employment. In the thirteen selected centers, they had an average non-white population of an average of 26%. The understanding of the local area and keeping that in regard made the urban equestrian centers successful in their engagement.
