It is often said that injuries are a part of the game. This, however, wards off neither the pain nor the consequences of the injury. In fact, some injuries can potentially end or ruin careers. A young and promising jockey finds herself stuck in rehab with an injury. The young jockey has already established herself in the equestrian world. Winning multiple races and events, it is hard to believe she started her career just two years ago.

Kylee Jordan’s Stinging Injury

21-year-old Jordan stood at number 2 so far in this year’s standings. However, she suffered an injury that dislocated her shoulder and has been sidetracked from the rankings. She mentioned in a statement that a proper timeline for her recovery is yet to be finalized. Jordan received this injury a couple of weeks ago when she was sent flying off of one of her horses. While she had already completed the race, her horse started to gallop out, resulting in her bad fall. Her shoulder got into another problem outside of work while she was at the tracks. The nasty fall had already caused a lot of trouble, further increasing the pain.

Jordan was asked about when she could be back on the field. Answering the question, she said, “I’m not sure how long I’ll be out.” The rising superstar is uncertain about the road ahead, but she is making all efforts to get back to racing again.

Nursing and Recovery

Jordan has a total of 231 wins and has had a fantastic year so far. She is currently receiving physical therapy and has also seen a specialist regarding the issue. She is aching to get back on top of a horse and race away. However, her agent is asking her to give her body adequate time. “I want to ride, but my agent said ‘Not yet,’” said Jordan. She agrees with their concern and wishes to get back to full strength before winning another race.

Hopefully, this young racer would soon return to the racetracks and add more victories to her long career.
