Hidden significance of Jennifer Gates’ baby’s name

Jenn and Nayel Nassar welcomed their baby girl into the world on March 4, 2023. The couple shared a picture of the infant’s feet with the caption, “sending love from our healthy little family” announcing the news on Instagram. The name comes from the renowned Arabic story of Majnun wa Leila and is popular among Arabic-speaking nations. A closer look into the names tally suggests that Leila is currently ranked 246th in popularity among baby names in the US. The gorgeous name, however, is entirely attributable to Nassar’s Arabic ancestry and Egyptian origin.

Both Nassar’s personal life and his professional life have been significantly influenced by his Egyptian background. Although he was born in Chicago, he spent his early years in Kuwait. Later, he returned to America when his parent’s architecture and design firm relocated to the US in 2009. He initially qualified for the FEI World Cup Finals in 2013 and competed in major horse shows like the Olympics representing Egypt and his links to the Arab world. While the equestrian parents have returned to their vocation, the internet continues to swoon over the baby’s photos on social media.
