Modern Games trained by Charlie Appleby has been racing since 2021.  The son of Dubawi and Modern Ideals has won three stakes races in his equestrian race career –  Grade 1 Brreder’s Cup Mile in 2022, Grade 1 Woodbine Mile in 2022, and Grade 1 Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Turf in 2021.

Under the guidance of jockey William T. Buick, the colt participated in three races this year. He secured a second-place finish in the Maker’s Mark Mile in April and emerged victorious in the Al Shabab Lockinge at Newbury the following month. However, during his last race, the four-year-old colt, ridden by the same jockey, participated in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot and finished in fourth position.
