As Formula 1 came to the Las Vegas Strip, scheduled from Nov 16-18, fans are keeping close tabs on the races and what’s happening in the backdrop. Alpine skiing legend Lindsey Vonn posed for the media recently during this most anticipated race in recent years. Vonn’s association with F1 is not a newfound affair. She is known to have rejected the F1 offer once. It was because she was unwilling to commit to not getting pregnant for three years, which was a clause under the F1 terms and conditions. Hence, her presence during the Las Vegas Strip was a sheer delight to the fans.

As the winner of four women’s World Cup overall championships joined the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, there were more for the fans. She was pictured there posing with British racing legend, Sir Jackie Stewart, with three world championships and 27 races. Vonn took to social media to post the pictures with Sir Stweart, leaving fans awestruck. Alongside, she also reminded fans about a longstanding brand partnership.

Lindsey Vonn meets “family”

Lindsey Vonn beamed radiantly as she met F1 icon Jackie Stewart at the ongoing racing event. She took to her Twitter handle to share the photo. The caption reads,  ‘’Excited to be at F1 Vegas this weekend with my @ROLEX family seeing Sir Jackie Stewart again was the perfect way to kick it off!’’ 

It is not without reason Vonn felt surrounded by family as she landed in Las Vegas. Sir Stewart and Vonn are united by their connection with Swiss luxury watchmaker Rolex. Both Vonn and Sir Stewart have been brand ambassadors of the Rolex for a long time. According to Rolex, Sir Stewart “has been a Rolex Testimonee since 1968.”

Former Skiing Legend Lindsey Vonn Makes Waves Despite Recent Health Concerns

On the other hand, Vonn has often been featured in some of the most iconic Rolex watches over the years. Quite obviously, Vonn instantly found herself in good company on the Las Vegas strip. Meanwhile, it was a treat for the fans to watch the two legends together. The comment section of the post was a testimony to that.

Fans go ga-ga over ‘speedy association’

Fans poured their love as soon as they saw the Former Skiing Legend Lindsey Vonn and former Formula One racing driver Sir Jackie Stewart together. One of them wrote ‘’Two Legends of Speed!’’
