If you want to learn something new, learning it from the very best in the field is perhaps the best way to go forward. And given Nathan Chen is the Olympic champion, teaching might not be so farfetched after all. His performance at the Beijing Winter Olympics left everyone mesmerized and rewarded him with his first-ever Olympic gold.
After the Olympics, the 22-year-old figure skater has become the most talked-about sports celebrity in America. He was showered with much-deserving attention wherever he went. However, then followed the sad news of his withdrawal just before the World Figure Skating Championship.

A fan has shared a video on Twitter where the Olympic champion is seen giving figure skating lessons to young kids. In the video, he is teaching a girl how to slide backward on the ice rink.

When he’ll say goodbye to the international competitions someday, undoubtedly, Nathan would make an excellent coach. He is the best out there in the sport and who would not want to learn from the skating sensation himself?

Nathan Chen, being the best figure skater in the world, is not a day’s result. Since February 2018, he has won every competition he took part in, including the three world championship titles and an Olympic gold medal. Furthermore, Nathan currently holds all the figure skating records in free skating, short program, and the combined total.

This year his chances of winning his fourth world championship title were pretty high because of Yuzuru Hanyu’s withdrawal earlier this month. However, the silver lining in all this is that the world will get a new figure skating champion in the absence of the two legends.
