In a talk, Michael Phelps also spoke about the time when he played golf with Bubba Watson. Bubba Watson is a professional golfer who has won the Masters Tournament twice. Both the legends met at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, which led to a unique game of golf.

What happened in the epic game between Michael Phelps and Bubba Watson?

During the game, Bubba Watson hit the ball far, well ahead of where Phelps had hit. When Bubba light-heartedly made Phelps realize this fact, Phelps had a ready response. ?Dude, you do this for a living?, Phelps reacted. Recalling the incident later, Phelps wittily said that he should have asked Watson to swim.

Later, the incident where Phelps got booed took place. Phelps had to aim the ball and make it go down the par-3 16th hole. However, this didn?t happen, and the audience made fun of him, with Watson also laughing. After ineffectively trying to make the ball go down the hole, Phelps finally picked up the ball. Then, with his hand, Phelps dropped in the ball, leading to a huge commotion.

Phelps has also undergone golf learning sessions with Haney, who was Tiger Woods’ tutor. This shows how Phelps has gained a deep knowledge of golf. The swimming legend also once spoke about his dream to play golf on the best golf courses.

The Olympic champion has also visited Augusta National where the Masters’ Tournament was being held. This reflects Phelps’ love and growing interest in golf.
