As soon as she took retirement from gymnast, she planned a baby with her husband, Jonas Harmer. The Olympic silver medalist is nowadays enjoying motherhood as she is giving her precious time to her little bundle of joy, Lottie.

Ever since she became a mom, Skinner has been very active on social media and keeping her Insta family updated about her new chapter of motherhood by sharing adorable pictures of her daughter. While baby Lottie already seems to have developed an understanding of motherly love as she wears a content smile in the pictures. The pregnancy has been challenging for Skinner. Throughout the journey, she has opened up about the challenges. However, holding the little bundle of joy, it seems, all those tough days are truly worth it.

Skinner and Jonas Harmer Are Enjoying Parenthood

MyKayla Skinner stepped aside from competitive gymnastics at a very tender age to focus on her family. She met her future husband, Jonas Harmer, at the University of Utah while studying. Soon after, they became a good friend. On October 16, 2019, Skinner announced her engagement on social media. And the couple got hitched for a lifetime on November 14, 2019.

Harmer is a renowned YouTube personality and US cryptographic money trader, and now with her gymnastics wife, he is enjoying parenthood. The couple welcomed their first baby, on September 21, 2023. Since they became a parent, they have been giving glimpses of their baby Harmer through their Instagram posts.

While speculations of Skinner’s return to gymnastics have not completely stopped, she seems to have found solace in her daughter and family. So much so that recently she even teased the possibility of a second child as well. The new mother has also revealed her grand plans for her daughter as she recently revealed that she “can’t wait” to teach gymnastics to Lottie.
