?So, it’s like I feel like I just haven’t had like a break, but it’s just been very difficult because I feel like everybody expects a lot of me right now and I think that’s just like, it’s just been very difficult,? said Suni.

Despite the chaos in her life right now, she acknowledges herself and her growth throughout the journey. But the only thing which disappoints her is that the world would never know about the struggles and efforts she had to put in order to reach the peak.

However, she remains proud of herself and everything she has achieved, all at just 18-years-old.

?But I’m really proud of myself than living in L.A, like, by myself, without my parents. But I feel like nobody ever sees what happens outside of the screen,? said the Olympic gold medalist.

Lee talks about toxicity in the sport

After her grand victory in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Lee came forward to talk about people?s perceptions of the sport.

?Just the whole Elite mentality, it?s always just the Olympics and gymnastics. You never know what you?re going to do after that. People just think gymnastics is the only thing in the world. No. That?s why I wanted to come here, to just kind of look out to the real world a little bit, get a taste of what it?s like,” said Lee.

??I don?t know. I feel like it?s just so toxic,” she added.

Lee is currently a participant in the show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and is among one of the popular contestants, courtesy of her flawless moves. How far do you think she will go in the competition?
