Next year the most awaited event, the Olympics will be held in the city of lights and love, Paris. Paris has always been known for its classic French food, vintage style, and handmade beauty of the city. But since the IOC announced in 2017 that the 2024 Olympics would be held in Paris, various athletes and sports enthusiasts have been seen visiting the city. The exciting competition will be starting from 26th July 2024 to 11th August. And according to the Olympics, gymnastics has become one of the most awaited events.

Now, fans were supposed to wait one whole year to watch great gymnasts competing. The most decorated gymnast in history, Simone Biles will also be taking part in it. This will be nothing less than a treat for fans to watch Biles, Sunisa Lee, and Gabby Douglas performing after a long gap. 

Stellar artistic gymnasts to watch in US Classic

The 2023 US Classic got a new name after its sponsorships, the ‘2023 Core Hydration Classic’. This event will be the 39th edition of the US Classic gymnastics competition which will be starting from 6th August. Nothing could make this event more exciting than the three gymnastics champions, Simone Biles, Sunisa Lee, and Gabby Douglas. All three gymnasts have returned to the competitive arena after their break. 

Biles pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics due to her mental health problems but this year, she delighted the world with a piece of great news. She confirmed her comeback saying, “Sorry I’ve been a little MIA since the announcement. I’m overwhelmed with all of your messages, support & love! excited to get back out on the competition floor! XOXO.” Lee and Douglas also made similar announcements pertaining to their return. All three champions have now buckled up for the US Classic competition. The championship is organizing six different categories and more than 30 female gymnasts will be participating in it.

The 2023 U.S. Classic events and participants’ details

The championship is organizing six different gymnastics events including 2 men’s events. Hopes Championship, Junior Women’s Gymnastics, Senior Women’s Gymnastics (1), Senior Women’s Gymnastics (2), Men’s Gymnastics (1), Men’s Gymnastics (2). The competitions will be, All Around, Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor. The men’s category includes three more: Pommel Horse, Rings, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bars.
