However, for gymnastics GOAT Simone Biles, the list of people she hangs out with goes beyond sports. Not to exaggerate, but the Olympic champion is friends with the former first lady Michelle Obama, and apparently, the two share a special bond.

Apart from being the most decorated gymnast in the world, Simone Biles might be the most refreshing person to hang out with. She loves food, and while she is in her best mood, she could be a lot of fun to be around.

Simone Biles Reveals Her Relationship With Obama Family

Well, going by Simone’s revelation, it seems she is quite close to the Obama family. In an interview, when asked about whether she’s been in regular touch with the Obamas, the Olympic gold medalist said, “unfortunately, I have not because we are very busy, all of us. But If they ever wanna go to lunch or something. I am in Houston.”

Was that the hint Simone gave to the Obamas to invite her over or to hang out with her? Perhaps only Simone Biles can answer that question. However, given that the former first lady is already a fan, she would love the idea, though.

When Michelle Obama came to rescue Simone

Perhaps Simone’s friendship with the Obamas started when the former first lady Michelle Obama backed her during Tokyo Games. While the gymnastics legend faced heavy criticism from all around, Michelle saved the day with her support. The former first lady tweeted, “We are proud of you and we are rooting for you. Am I good enough? Yes, I am. The mantra I practice daily,” 

It would have been one of the proudest moments of Simone’s life. Michelle Obama stood by her in her tough times. Perhaps these are the kind of moments everyone needs in their life. To be supported and cheered when everything seems lost and hopeless and meaningless.
