The first victory is always special. After all, the world witnesses your remarkable talent and they see what wonders you can you do with it. Today, everyone knows Simone Biles as the most decorated gymnast of all time. She is an icon, an inspiration for the world to follow. However, the first step toward such an incredible career started with just one victory, and she repeated her winning streak over and over again until she finally became a legend in gymnastics.
There are plenty of reasons why the world adores Simone Biles. The most prominent of them is, of course, her gymnastics career. However, besides that, she is somewhat of a mental health epitome that the entire world looks up to. She simply has been an inspiration and a role model for millions of people out there who were struggling in their lives.

What was the taste of her first victory for Simone Biles?
Well, for some, it’s hard to channel the feeling of their first victory into words. Though Simone is certainly not one of them. Describing her first international moment of glory, she said, “In that moment, the full force of what I had done finally hit me. I had competed at Worlds. And won. I really just did that!”

The four-time Olympic gold medalist further added, “As cheerful voices and bursts of laughter from my Worlds Party floated in through my window, mixing with the rhythm of ‘Burn,’ I collapsed onto my bedroom floor and started bawling. I was just so proud of myself. And somewhere in there, I also had this thought — I’m getting a belly ring.”
