Another year, another college gymnastics competition with flamboyant celebrations, storied floor choreographies in bedazzled leotards. However, only a year back during the LSU Tigers’ season opening at the University of Utah Huntsman Center, some fifty teenagers gathered outside the venue, exposing an unpleasant gesture towards Olivia Dunne. Serious concerns were raised over athletes’ security, but moving on, Dunne also famously known as Livvy is once back in Utah for her SEC gymnastics meet.

After an upsetting crowd incident at Utah last year, Dunne previously noted that LSU had helped her put the appropriate security measures in place before the start of the current season. Eyewitness accounts and shared videos attest to the boisterous conduct of male attendees during the meet, which interfered with normal operations and required security intervention. To protect the athletes, LSU had to move the bus after the competition due to turmoil.

“I want to ask that if you come to a meet, please be respectful of the other gymnasts and the gymnastics community as we are just doing our job,” Livvy tweeted last year after the incident. Livvy is a multifaceted personality with 15 million followers on various social media platforms, yet she manages to have a positive outlook seen in her recent experiences in Utah, and her grounded gesture toward her admirers.

The gang was also spotted riding atop the snow-covered mountains in another Snapchat story, which offered a dramatic contrast to the chaotic sights from the meet the year before. Olivia seems unfazed by the earlier events and keeps shining on the mats while setting sights on earning LSU Tiger’s first Championship title.
