NCAA Champion gymnast Jordan Chiles is making a game switch ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The student-athlete who stepped up following the withdrawal of gymnastics GOAT Simone Biles is a legend in the making. During Biles’s professional absence, she engaged in some leisure activities that helped her recover.

This year, the 22-year-old, Jordan Chiles, already made headlines for her appearances and rising brand commitments, compared to her athletic wins. Despite having professional obligations, her love for a cherished brand and legendary video game series of all time drew the attention of her followers. With her closest friend’s return and her hectic schedule, the game she posted about on social media ahead of its annual event attracted her fans’ curiosity.

Gymnastics fame reunites with old interest

Nintendo unveiled numerous new Mario titles for the Nintendo Switch system during the most recent event in June 2023. Following this, Jordan Chiles updated her Instagram story, showing off her newest Mario cart set, revealing her hidden gamer side. The game console was set on her living room table, ready to be played by the gymnast. The kit included the console, three game discs, a charging port, and the game Traveler deluxe tower case. Her story caption read, “When you get new stuff for your @nintendoamerica switch!!! Catch me on Mario cart.”

The franchise has been popular for almost three decades now and the die-hard fans are eagerly awaiting the opening event of Ultimate Squad Strike Challenge starting from September 1st and will end on September 4th. The 2023 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship Qualifier and Championship will be placed at Nintendo Live. Followed by Ultimate amiibo + me Exhibition on day 3. And finally, the Splatoon? 3 Championship 2023 will conclude the events. Who knows, she might have hidden plans.

A week back, Chiles was a panelist at the Variety + Sportico Sports & Entertainment Summit. The Olympian addressed body image issues and the beauty taboo that surrounds female athletes.

The UCLA gymnast last landed a perfect 10 on the bars in Pauley Pavilion earlier this year before taking time off to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics trials. The women’s national gymnastics team of the United States is now honing their skills to balance the beam, bars, and vaults ahead of the Nationals.
