Gymnastics GOAT Simone Biles’ Mother Pulled an Unusual Act to Showcase Immense Support for Her Daughter at Rio Olympics

A legacy has been created in the Olympics by one of the most decorated gymnasts, Simone Biles. The four-time Olympic gold medalist’s performances always reached new heights in her career. Throughout her career, she has won 19 gold medals at the championships. As she progressed in her gymnastics, the support of her family was the most important to her. Simone’s mother once surprised her daughter by doing something unexpected to cheer her up.

Their encouragement has been evident in every performance she has given. As a result of her excellent twisting abilities and flexibility, they have greatly admired her. In addition, Ron and Nellie had an exceptional way of cheering for their daughter’s victory.

There is no doubt that Simone Biles is recognized as the GOAT of the sport. She changed her parents’ perspective on gymnastics when she won the all-around American Classic in Texas. Despite the risk, she does unique tricks other gymnasts are afraid to attempt.

When Simone was struggling with depression, her mother did a remarkable job of taking care of her. She brought her family closer by holding family dinners and attending church every Sunday. In addition, Nellie revealed how she traveled to the Rio Olympics with 17 people, including friends and family.

She told ESPN, “We brought a group of 17 family members and friends to Rio with us, just to support her. So having such a huge amount of support, in general, was quite memorable. Each time we came back from competition, we’d all sit down to celebrate as a group.” Her parent’s gesture of supporting her daughter stole the heart of Simone’s fans. In addition to celebrating their daughter’s victory, her parents did one more cute thing.

Simone’s role as cupid for her parents

In total, the gymnast has won 32 world championship medals. The moment she won her fifth gold medal captured everyone’s attention. In celebration of her victory, her parents shared a kiss as she won the all-around title in the championship. Simone had a brief interview with NBC after she won, where a reporter questioned her.

In a sarcastic tone, the reporter asked Simone if her father knew he would receive a kiss every time she won. Additionally, he referred to the gymnast as ‘cupid’ for her parents. Simone responded that she wishes to see her father happy with each routine she performs.
