For any sport, several expenses need to be incurred.?The equipment required, the money needed to travel from one venue to another or to practice and other such related tasks can add up to a significant amount.

Answering a couple of questions and busting myths about gymnastics, Biles said that, “It actually is a very expensive sport and it’s also year long. We don’t have a season and then we take a break. And you kind of have to train your whole life for it. So yes, it does get to be expensive.

The belief of the fan turned out to correct and, as Biles confirmed, gymnastics can take a financial toll on its participants. The lack of an off-season also adds to the cost since a gymnast and their parents must be read, year-round, to spend on equipment and training and travel.
