The Laureus World Sports Awards have returned for another iteration. American gymnastics superstar Simone Biles has unsurprisingly made it to the nominees of the awards list once again. After all, the 26-year-old reemerged from a two-year-long hiatus and straightaway won another world championship all-around gold.

Owing to this stellar revival, Simone Biles has been nominated for the ‘World Comeback of The Year’ Award. This moved the gymnastics GOAT to write a heartfelt message for all her supporters and well-wishers who stood by her side. Reflecting her love for them, Biles added a new story on Instagram and showered her appreciation.

She wrote, “I’m always speechless about these nominations 😭🥹🤍. My sincerest gratitude for everyone who has supported me & continues to support my journey & dream💋💋💋💋💋.” The emojis suggest that the mighty Olympian was moved to tears because of this. 

This award means a lot to Simone Biles. All the glorious conversation around her got polluted with the conversation of her twisties. Moreover, many even said that the elite gymnast was turning her back on her country and wasn’t a true patriot. But, her loyal fans didn’t let her reputation get tarnished and have been cheering harder right from Biles’ US Classic return.

Notably, Biles has already won the Laureus World Awards thrice thanks to her abilities and her fanbase. While Biles is reaping the benefits of her efforts in Antwerp, she is also enjoying a vacation. In fact, her latest post suggests that she doesn’t want to come back anytime soon.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are on a romantic getaway in Hawaii. The couple had made landfall on the lush islands to attend the wedding of a friend. But now, both of them can’t have enough of the beautiful gifts Hawaii has to offer. Biles especially is fully mesmerized by the Hawaii experience and has added several posts of her holiday.

The latest Simone Biles post showcased her with a surfboard suggesting that the gymnast is in the mood of riding the waves. However, her caption said that she canceled her return ticket back home. This comes in addition to a previous post where she said that she was looking for a realtor. Does this mean that the Olympic champ will make a new home in Hawaii? Or will she just make it her holiday destination?
