Aly Raisman weighs in on Simone Biles returning for the Olympics

Yahoo Sports brought forth a fast-paced talk show called ‘The Rush.’ Jared Quay plays the host, as he fills our needs for sports news by keeping them short, simple, and funny. The show targets mobile and other wired audiences and covers a range of topics from NBA, gymnastics, soccer, etc.

In a recent episode of the show, Quay invited American gymnast Aly Raisman. Raisman is a former Olympic champion who competed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic games before retiring. Incidentally, she was America’s most decorated gymnast at the 2012 games, with two golds and one bronze medal. She and Biles share a close bond and often spend time together.

During the episode, Jared asked Aly about her thoughts on Simone Biles’ return to the Paris Olympics. “I am sure she’s putting in so much thought into it. So, I think either way, I’m really excited for her, I’m curious. I don’t even know if she actually knows the answer yet. So, I guess we’ll have to wait and see,” said Raisman.

Notably, Aly and Simone were teammates during the 2016 Rio Olympics. While Biles won four golds and one bronze medal in her debut Olympics, Raisman won one gold and two silvers in her last Games. During the games, Raisman and Biles set the perfect example of the symbolic passing of the torch, with one gymnast making her debut while the other making her last appearance.
