Olivia Dunne is justifiably on Cloud 9. After making history with her teammates by lifting the NCAA gymnastics trophy for the first time in program history, Livvy is getting a well-deserved break. However, her boyfriend and MLB pitcher Paul Skenes isn’t too far away, despite being busy at the Pittsburg Pirates camp.

The duo’s busy schedules make it very hard for them to find the time to spend with each other. With Livvy being swamped with her NCAA duties and the Spring Training Camp keeping Skenes busy for weeks, the celebrity couple has rarely been spotted together in recent times. However, now, a special gift will keep Dunne company while she waits for Paul to arrive by her side once again.

In her recent Snapchat story, Dunne shared an adorable gift she received from the Pirates. Captioned “look what minor league team sent me“, the short video clip shows Olivia holding a bobblehead figurine of the pitcher. Donning a “Curve 27” jersey, the figure looks like the real deal.

In another snap from the same series, Dunne shared how Roux has also been feeling the blues without Skenes in the house.  The 2023 #1 overall draft pick’s smaller version might be just the thing that Dunne needs as she cleans out her spot from the Tigers gymnasium now that her final year with the LSU squad comes to an end after a memorable season.

Being in close proximity is a difficult task

The LSU Tigers started dreaming big after winning this year’s SEC title. A brilliant 25-3 record in the regular season also boosted their determination to send off the seniors in style, that they’d remember for the rest of their lives. With so much on her plate, Dunne rarely got the break to meet up with her beau to make memories of their own. And yet, both she and Skenes were reluctant to pass up any chance that came their way to pamper the other. Only last month, the couple managed to wriggle out some time to catch up with the latest developments in each other’s lives after Dunne revealed that long-distance relationships aren’t easy even for her.

Now as Dunne joins her hubby as another highly decorated ex-LSU star, she will probably have some time off before deciding on her next grand voyage. With that in mind, Livvy is more likely than not to have some spare time on her hands as the MLB keeps Skenes busy for the upcoming weeks. Probably that’s exactly what they need right now as Dunne’s celebration of her NCAA win is still pending with her more vehement cheerleader.
