Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes‘ romantic suspense came out of nowhere this year. The dating rumors surfaced after the baseball game in Bradenton, Florida, during the College World Series in June. Sharing the LSU Tigers roots, the gymnast cheered for the baseball player wearing a grey jersey(similar to Skenes). Following months they spent under media scrutiny over their ties until Skenes opened up about their relationship last month. Talking about dating the international sensation, he said, “It’s nice, for sure. It can be a pain in the butt sometimes, to be honest, in terms of actually going somewhere.”

Similar to Dunne, Skenes isn’t like a typical 21-year-old athlete. The Pittsburgh Pirates signed him for a $9.2 million signing bonus in July, the highest amount ever for a drafted player. Given their young age, athleticism, and fame, the couple quickly became popular as the “ultimate power couple”. Recently, an exciting update surfaced online after three months of direct-indirect disclosure play by the duo.

While a majority flaunt their relationships, Dunne, 20, and her boyfriend continued to guard their romance. Given their stature, keeping it a secret was almost impossible. And it’s obvious that Dunne was not hiding it much from her massive social media following and press coverage. In a recent turn of tables situation from LSU ground, Paul Skenes shared an Instagram post posing with Olivia Dunne in the first picture from LSU’s home ground in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

This was the first time the pair were pictured together after the public confession and Dunne’s continued omission of any clear comment. He wore a purple jersey with the Nike logo and LSU emblem, contrary to how often the gymnast uploads pictures wearing his Pirates cap to cheer for him. Dunne wore a yellow-printed cami mini dress, black sunglasses, and white cowboy boots as she gave him a side hug with a wide smile. What an adorable way to declare their love, isn’t it?
