“#1 in My Heart”: Simone Biles Cheers On Boyfriend Jonathan Owens During NFL Game

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are Instagram’s new favorite celebrity couple. A match made in heaven, the duo are often spotted in the stands, supporting each other during their respective sporting events. Similarly, fans once again spotted Biles in attendance at the Houston Texans game, cheering on Jonathan.

Widely regarded as the greatest gymnast of all time, Biles posted a picture on Instagram as the two of them embraced each other before Owens’ game. Moreover, she also posted a story, capturing Owens heading into the dressing room.

Posting a picture of the two before the game, Biles wrote, “GAME DAY!!!! ❤️#36 on the field #1 in my heart.” Notably, she also posted a picture of the pendant in her neck that had the number 36; 36 is Owens’ jersey number.

Owens extends his contract

Despite all the support, the Houston Texans lost their game against the Seattle Seahawks by 13-33. As for Owens, he received a contract extension because of his good performances over the season. He signed a two-year deal worth $1.175 million that goes along with the base salary for this season. Moreover, he received a $10,000 signing bonus, an $895,000 base salary in 2022, and a $10,000 workout bonus.

The former undrafted free agent from Missouri Western has now played with the Texans for the past three seasons. Significantly, he has run a 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds this season and continues to better his performance steadily. With Simone Biles by his side, Owens has a trainer, a mentor, and a friend as his partner.
