Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens have been a doting duo ever since their relationship was revealed. Despite their demanding careers and long-distance obstacles, they haven’t forgone a chance to exude love. Having tied the knot in May earlier this year, the Packers’ safety and the Olympic gymnast’s fans have persistently held onto receiving exciting news. However, the speculations are all that take up the space.

Biles, who is known to attend as many of Owens’ games as possible, made her presence on Monday. The 7-time Olympic medalist, celebrating the game, took to Instagram to share her looks and images of the stadium. The post called upon fans for growing pregnancy speculations followed by a countering response from the community online.

Biles, returning successfully from Antwerp with 5 medals, has been on a break, catching up with friends and family before the Olympic trials. In doing so, this time around, fellow gymnast, Zoe Miller has been Simone’s companion for traveling. Touchdown New York on Sunday, the duo made their way to MetLife Stadium to cheer on Jonathan Owens as the team took on the New York Giants. Biles, who sported a brown jumpsuit set with a camouflage over-sized jacket, took to Instagram to update on her, ‘Monday night football.’

The post brought about varied responses from the fans. While some picked on the angles to declare the pregnancy speculation true, there were reasonable contradictions that quashed the rumors flowing in.

Fans jump in to cancel out assumptions

Enthusiastic of what the images put forth, one of the fans rushed in to declare, “Is she expecting?? I m so happy for them!!”  Following along, another comment reading, “Beautiful!! I see a lil bump!!” sparked the contradictory lash out from the Olympian’s fans. One of them started with, “Omg she’s not pregnant y’all,” only for the section to be further filled with angered spectators.

A response read, “Why are you people even saying she’s pregnant?? She’s literally still in the Olympics still and I doubt she’s even thinking about having a baby at the moment.” As another commented, “It is so incredibly rude to assume a woman is pregnant without her mentioning it. We only see what she chooses to post. You have no idea what may be going on in someone’s life.”

Though Simone Biles has previously mentioned wanting to have two kids and having picked out names, it may not be the first thing on the gymnast’s mind. With upcoming Olympic trials and the esteemed stage itself, the icon will look to pick it up from where she left back in 2021.
