Forced Apart After 11 Days of Togetherness, Simone Biles Sends a 2-Word Note to NFL Husband Jonathan Owens

Returning to her beloved state means a long-distance relationship for gymnastics legend Simone Biles. As they say, everything worthwhile comes with a price, and for the gymnast, it is staying away from her husband, Jonathan Owens. Just days after getting married in May, the celebrity athletes embarked on a tough journey after Jonathan signed a $1.01 million contract with the Green Bay Packers. With Owens relocating to Wisconsin for practice at their home base, Biles too announced her comeback for US Classics.

After being away for thirty days for work commitments, Biles and Owens were overjoyed to finally reunite. Although Owens couldn’t make it to her big day in Chicago, Simone flew to Ohio to cheer for him. Her presence for Owens felt louder than the ones in the stands, but now back to practice, Simone penned an emotional message for Beau.

Simone was a lucky charm for her Green Bay Packers safety husband during the Preseason match against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Packers won their first match of the season, scoring ?36-19 which was attended by Biles. The 4X Olympic gold medalist even wore Jonathan’s number 34 jersey as she cheered for him. Now, back in Texas, Biles added an adorable boomerang with Jonathan on her Instagram story from their wholesome reunion. She captioned the story “missing you” with teary eyes emoji tagging Owens.

The couple dressed in casual clothing; Jonathan wore a white shirt, denim shorts, and white shoes, while Simone donned a green slip top, shorts, and a white pullover, as well as sneakers in yellow and white.

The short video captured Owens leaning in to look at 4′ 8” Simone standing beside him as she smiled. Their twinning moment was complimented by the white wall in the background with Packers written in bold black font.
