Jonathan Owens’ latest Instagram post shows the former Green Bay Packers star finalizing his move to the Chicago Bears as he signs his contract with his new team. His post read, “Just following his plan.” Owens’ Instagram post is accompanied by an image where Biles can be seen present via FaceTime/video call and grinning broadly. The post further reads, “Excited for this new journey, let’s get it!!!“, as a bear emoji seeks to underscore that Owens’ heart has settled in his new home.

While the NFL star’s contract signing was a general protocol, hints were dropped with little hesitation about the things to come. A keen eye can easily spot several Bears vs. Packers posters on the background from previous encounters between the two goliaths and fans can only speculate how Owens’ return to Wisconsin might bode for him and Simone.

Only yesterday, Jonathan Owens was joined by Biles’ closest family members as they celebrated the four-time Olympic gold medalist’s 27th name day. And while the festivities at the Biles household seem to have kept Jonathan’s wife busy, she wasn’t going to let her husband’s big day slide despite her family commitments. In December last year, Simone also left her comfort zone of warm Texas weather to brave Wisconsin’s harsh cold as the Packers took on the Chiefs. As Jonathan chose to move his camp to Chicago after only a year with Green Bay, Biles made sure her unwavering support didn’t falter. Interestingly, as outlined by Simone, Jonathan’s shift to Chicago has another perk for Simone.

A couple of days ago, Simone took to social media to express her excitement as her commute to Illinois was revealed to have become easier than having to travel to Green Bay. While the Packers fans immediately called out Biles for making her statement look like a diss to the Packers, it wouldn’t be the first time she took on adversities to cheer for her hubby.

After signing the hefty $4.5 million contract with the Bears, Simone once again took to social media to elaborate on her pride for her husband’s growth. Through the season with the Packers, Owens finished with 84 tackles (58 solo), three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one touchdown.
