An incredible Olympic career
It’s been three decades since Oksana Chusovitina has been part of the Olympics community. She made her debut in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and her journey still goes on. In her eight Olympic appearances, she has won a gold and a silver medal. However, to be able to compete as a gymnast in her ninth Olympics would be an extraordinary feat in itself.
The 46-year-old Oksana will be an inspiration for generations to follow. She is definitely once in a century kind of athlete who gave her everything to the sport she loves more than anything else in the world.
