Olivia Dunne has mentioned on several occasions that maintaining a working long-distance relationship can take a toll on both her and her beau Paul Skenes. However, despite their respective commitments to their teams, the couple still manages to meet up frequently whenever possible. But that recently brought some difficult moments for the couple. With Mother Nature lashing out hard in Nebraska, their latest leisure time could have been a disaster that no one had foreseen.

As the world stands to witness the horrific scenes emerging from Nebraska and Iowa amidst tornados running riot in these two states, Dunne and Skenes were trying to explore Omaha in these troubled times. However, while her fans were anxious to know about her whereabouts, Dunne took to social media to calm things down. “im still alive“, reads the caption of Haleigh Bryant’s teammate’s recent Snapchat story that shows a heavily overcast sky from Dunne’s room window.

However, despite the adverse weather conditions, the MLB star and the recently crowned NCAA champ refused to stay in their hotel room and instead decided to explore the Nebraska city in search of its hidden gems. With Dunne’s time with the Tigers finally coming to an end, maybe now the two will have more time on their hands to catch up with each other. But that isn’t to say they don’t continue to stand in the other’s corner whenever they can manage.

Skenes’ MLB schedule is extremely demanding. The pro baseball star has to fly all over the country frequently to contribute to the Pirates’ national dreams and yet, Paul made sure to extend his congratulations to Dunne & Co. when the LSU gymnasts finally broke all previous standards of the program to win the 2024 NCAA Gymnastics Championship. Additionally, the two were seen in Omaha yesterday, having a quaint lunch date and spending some much-needed time together, trying to stay grounded as their fans continue to celebrate them as larger-than-life national sensations.

Even during the final stretch of the NCAA tournament this year, Livvy made sure to stay updated with the happenings of the premier baseball league in the country and urged her fans to rally behind Skenes and the Pittsburg Pirates as well. In February too, on Valentine’s Day, Paul made sure to bring a smile to Dunne’s face as he surprised her with a gift package. Now that Olivia is finally free of her obligations to her college, it waits to be seen which part of the US or the world she sets out to explore with Paul by her side.
