With the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships breathing on her shoulders, Simone Biles is high on her off-mat appearances. Besides clinching victory at the US Women’s World Championships Selection camp, the 26-year-old pulls off a lot of social media responsibilities too. Engaging with the iconic FIG and USA Gymnastics now and then, Simone takes part in casual questionnaire sessions. Though the podium training is in full swing now, some occasional pauses don’t hurt.

Recently, she made a brief appearance on Laures’s Instagram page. Laures celebrates sporting excellence and honors deserving individuals from the world of sports. Simone, quite naturally, etched her name in their record book with three laurels. So, Laures organized a special rapid fire for Simone. Asserting her prowess in the holy sport, she wouldn’t mind the greatest tennis legend to take over her floor routine. In line with that, the 4X Olympic gold medalist unfurled some personal opinions.

Laureussport took to their Instagram page to catch Simone in her most candid self. The video featured the gymnast talking about other athletes who could replace her in the four apparatus. Laureus captioned the post, “Switching it up! Three-time Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year @simonebiles picks the athletes from outside of gymnastics she thinks would be great on the vault, bars, beam and floor! It’s an all-star line-up…”

While she spoke about her NFL husband Jonathan Owens and LeBron James in specifics, her Serena Williams mention sounded more assertive. The 42-year-old WTA queen turned businesswoman, is a force to be reckoned with, and Simone seconds this statement. She said, “And then on the floor, I would definitely want to see Serena Williams because of the power that see has. So, I think she could actually tumble.” Known for her strides beyond the realm of tennis, the tennis player got a sweet shout-out from Biles.

Along similar lines, the gymnastic prodigy had some humility in store before hitting the World Selection camp mat. Best known for her get-ready-with-me-sessions with fellow gymnast Zoe Miller, she unveils her deepest fear.

The gymnastics queen facing her biggest fears

Just hours before her maneuver exhibits, Simone shot a GRWM video alongside Zoe Miller. Despite their age gap, the camaraderie of the duo grabbed decent media attention. She said, “I don’t know which routine I am most nervous for…I feel like floor” while fixing her highlight.

The recent Yurchenko Double Pike controversy had shaken the gymnastic nation and Biles as well. Though she nudged that off herself during the fun session. Moreover, Biles revealed her leotard pick for the day while adjusting her contour and setting her loose powder. She ditched the 2013’s leo for the 2019’s, owing to the discontinuation of the brand partnership.

Subsequently, Biles looked hopeful of her Belgium return after a decade, the place where her career kick-started. On September 30, the 7X Olympics medalist will compete at the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which will draw its curtains on October 8.
