Simone Biles, the reigning gymnastics champion, is rejuvenating in the days leading up to her big day on the bars. Before taking a lengthy break, 26 years old Biles won every medal and championship a gymnast could hope to win. Throughout her professional career, the all-around gymnast competed in every discipline of gymnastics, perfecting her skills to the point that some were even named after her. However, the American gymnastics pride was forced to prioritize her mental health, which deprived her fans of the chance to see her perform.

Since her event withdrawal, millions of Americans were longing for her big return. While the rest of the world waited for her to compete, a bunch of her close friends helped her heal. Her fans were overjoyed when Biles announced her return, while she kept her habit of spending time with her loved ones just days later.

Simone Biles continues to create fun memories with her gang

Yesterday, Biles hosted a fun get-together with her besties Rebecca Delaney, Avery, Adria Biles, Rachael Moore, and Sam Roy. She posted a boomerang with her girls cheering their glasses with orange drinks on her Instagram story. While Wimbledon Championship played on television in the background, the squad beamed wide smiles while cheering the champagne glasses. The vibe in the frame looked calming, as Biles captioned it, “girls girls. (mentioning their @)”

The following story showed the girls soaking in the water, so pool day was also on the schedule. They posed for the camera with the new set of glasses and beverages this time. Biles’s childhood friend Moore, her beloved sister Adria, UMich coach and former Michigan gymnast Sam Roy, and her longtime friend Avery?all of whom served as her bridesmaids?make up her close group. While the feeling to catch up must have been nostalgic since their previous plans also included sipping during the meet, which Biles posted about on her Instagram.

The tribe continues to help uplift one another, frequently taking fun trips to avoid feeling the blues. Biles’ girl gang visited Cancun in 2022, and she even posted updates on her Instagram about the vacation. It was a perfect getaway with a Mexico resort stay, chic beachwear, and great company. Even her husband Jonathan Owens was a huge support in her personal life. Biles is grateful that she now has the platform to build on her legacy, starting with the most recent challenge.

In Hoffman Estates, Illinois on the fifth of August, Biles will be making her major comeback in Nationals after?the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Over the past two years, a lot has happened in the dynamic world of gymnastics. In her absence, Sunisa Lee, a fellow all-around gold champion, has advanced up the success ladder still far from Biles’s tally. In her career till 2021, Biles has earned 20 gold medals in U.S. Classic as a nine-time participant. Needless to say, this is her ground to shine and she is well-prepared for it. Rather her fans would argue if Chicago is ready for Biles.
