The year just keeps on fulfilling the wishful dreams for Simone Biles. The 26-year-old gymnastics GOAT had put a halt to her professional pace during the last two years. Even after she withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics finals in 2021 her records stayed intact. Simone’s life is only starting to get better now, away from her career as a pro athlete who has been in the sporting limelight since she was a teen. A lot has been going on with her improved mental health, marriage to Jonathan Owens, becoming an aunt, as well as an exceptional returner.

Simone Biles finds her inspiration standing next to her

The story dates back to April 23, 2015, when Simone retweeted a Twitter post of a little girl performing a flawless single twist in midair. This was around the same time when the gymnast was nominated for the James E. Sullivan Award. Biles wrote the sweetest caption on the video being “in awe” of her skills. And despite her all-around win at the City of Jesolo Trophy a few weeks back, Simone wished to learn “a thing or two” from the girl.
