Life is never a bed of roses for athletes and 20-year-old Olympian Suni Lee realized the same. Recently, Suni Lee’s gymnastics career came to an unexpected halt. Diagnosed with kidney disease, Lee put the breaks on her training for the Paris Olympics 2024. Currently receiving treatment for this issue, Lee is focusing on her recovery. This break made Lee fondly recall her gymnastics performance in a recent Instagram post. Reacting to this post, many fans got nostalgic and told Lee to return to collegiate gymnastics.

A short glimpse of the ‘War Eagle’s’ memorable performances

Competing against Louisiana State University on February 5, 2022, Lee secured a perfect 10 on vault. In March 2022, competing for the Auburn Tigers, Lee gave her all against the Florida Gators. This contest took place on March 5, 2022, at Auburn. This contest resulted in a tie with a final score of 198.575.

Afterwards, Lee also competed in NCAA college women’s gymnastics in April 2022. Showing her skills at floor exercises, she won the heart of fans. Post this, Lee performed in the balance beam category in the NCAA championships, in 2022. Finishing fourth in this competition, Lee was proud of giving her best.

Post this, competing in uneven bars against LSU in 2023, Lee managed to score a perfect 10. The Auburn Tigers gymnast also competed against Alabama at the Coleman Coliseum, where she scored a perfect 10 against them twice. Aware of these spectacular performances by Lee in collegiate gymnastics, nostalgic fans wished Lee to make a comeback in collegiate gymnastics and passed intriguing and entertaining comments.
