Olivia Dunne makes a grand appearance at the ESPY Awards

On July 12, Dunne attended the 2023 ESPY Awards which were held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. As host, the famous LSU Tigers athlete left an admirable impression on the attendees by setting the scene. She asked a question about how it felt to attend the ESPYs alongside the greats of the sporting world shortly after walking the red carpet. Adding a brazen remark to her question she said, “Honestly, it is just like a normal day at LSU.”

After joining the LSU team as a freshman, she gained a new professional identity in the professional world. Being supportive of her home team, LSU basketball, who was up for Best Team, she sure understood the assignment of a true representative. She then shifted her attention to her hosting duties and announced the names of Damar Hamlin and LeBron James followed by the best athlete in men’s sports. Just before a break, Dunne urges the spectators to stick around, just as she sticks on landing.

The twenty-year-old continued to be a fan of LSU athletics praising her colleagues’ contributions and publicly celebrating each victory as a team effort. Even on her social media profiles she often updates on her college teams’ victories like her own. The LSU teams are deserving of it all, having achieved some terrific results in dynamic settings.

Livvy credits fellow LSU teams as their strongest ally

In another exhilarating moment from the show, Livvy stood cheering like a fan of basketball fame Angel Reese who won the Best Breakthrough Athlete award. While the baseball team topped the Florida team to win the College World Series, the women’s basketball team won the national championship. In addition, as the No. 2 top selection Dylan Crews earned the 2023 Golden Spikes Award, granted to the nation’s best collegiate baseball player. There was just a lot to celebrate for the young athlete following LSU’s impressive year.
